Elena Israilevna Berman (Елена Юрьевна) was a music teacher. She married Yuri_Allexandrovich_Kagan and they were parents of two daughters: Lilya_Brik and Elsa_Triolet.
At the time of her daughter Elsa's marriage to André Triolet, on 20 August 1919, Elena Berman was living in London, 90 Caufield Gardens, with her daughter[1]. At the time of second marriage, to Louis Aragon, on 28 February 1939, Elena was living in Moscow[2].
