Biography

George was born December 9, 1836 in Oak Bay, New Brunswick. He was a son of Michael Young and Margaret (Smith) Young. His parents owned a farmand he had a large number of siblings.

He married Ann Marie McAllister on September 1, 1869 in Oak Bay. She was the second aughter of Alfred McAllister of the same parish.[1][2]

He became a farmer at Oak Bay.

George passed away on January 18, 1921 in Oak Bay at the age of 84. He was interred at the Oak Bay Cemetery.[3]
