Emeline was born on 31 January 1825 in Belgrade, Kennebec, Maine, United States. She is the daughter of Jonathan Yeaton and his second wife Jane Wood.[1]

Emeline joined DAR based on her father's Revolutionary War service on 3 January 1900. She was a Real Daughter, a member of DAR who was the daughter of a man who served in the revolution. She joined the Elizabeth Wadsworth Chapter, NSDAR, in Portland, Maine. Her member number was 30324.[4]
Emeline died (age 84) on 28 June 1909 in Madison, Somerset, Maine, United States.[5] She is buried at Lakeside Cemetery in Livermore, Androscoggin County, Maine.[6]
