Biography

Fred was born in 1903, the son of Henry Yearley and Mary May.^[1] They moved to British Columbia and settled in Vancouver.

He passed away in 1989; he had been a realtor.^[4] He was buried in the Fraser Cemetery in New Westminster, Greater Vancouver Regional District, British Columbia.

Research Notes

He never used the name Thomas - he always went by "Fred" He moved to Vancouver, BC from Bracebridge, Ontario with his parents before he was old enough to attend school. His mother's family had relocated, and his Uncle was a lumber tycoon a and business man (William Lamont Tait) so there were more opportunities for the family.

Fred worked in a sawmill for many years on the lower mainland, and for a period of time in Kamloops (where his brother William lived). In later years Fred had a small real estate and insurance company "Sapperton Realty" which was in the Sapperton area of New Westminster. He lived at 319 Nootka, New Westminster, BC up until he passed away
