Ann, daughter of John Yates & Ann, was baptised on 7 December 1800 in St Mary, Stockport, Cheshire, England.[1]
Ann (age Minor), daughter of John Yates, Horse Keeper, married Thomas Brereton (of full age) , son of John Brereton, both Weavers, on 6 October 1839 in Prestbury, Cheshire, England. Witnesses to the wedding were Peter Brereton and Sarah Ann Worrall.[2] on 6 October 1839 in Prestbury, Cheshire, England.[3]
Research Notes
Daughter Elizabeth (Brereton) Edge's birth registration gives her Mother's maiden name as Yates[4] and on her marriage her father is named as Thomas Brereton. [5] The names Ann and Hannah seem to have often been interchangeable.
