Biography
Conrad Xylander was born in 1827 in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, the son of Anna Margarethe Xylander and Johannes Xylander.[1]
He married Johanna Louisa Baensch in 1869 in Victoria, Australia.[2] Their children were:[1]
- Conrad Hermann Xylander (1872–1872)
- Wilhelmina Xylander (1872–1948)
- Ernest August Henry Xylander (1875–1876)
- Annie Laura Bertha Xylander (1878–1963)
- Hannah Xylander (1879–1883)
Conrad died on 13 June 1895 in Grovedale, Victoria.[3] His remains were buried at Grovedale Public Cemetery - Plot: GRV-LUT-G-807-17.[1]
