Hi Billie, the US Civil War Project is conducting a Check-in for 2024 to see if your still interested/active in the Project.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you. You can click the reply button or message me with your answer. Thank you. Pam Kreutzer, leader of the US Civil War Project

Yes, I will work on the Civil War. However, I do not know how to work with your project,

Hi Billy, What do you enjoy working on??? I believe first you should begin with your family, then when your ready you can look over the https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:US_Civil_War:_War_Between_the_States page. On the page you'll see Maintenance Categories, these always could use help. Or there are space pages where some members ask for help. If you enjoy challenges, there are usually one a month.

On your profile page, top right corner, you'll see ADD, click that a list will come down, click FOLLOWED TAGS, then add US CIVIL WAR you will then be able to see what is going on in the Project. Norman Jones or myself can answer any questions you might have. Pam

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for all the work you've done to improve the US Civil War Between the States Project. I'm doing a check-in with all project members and wanted to verify that you're still interested in being a member of the project. Also, any suggestions for the Project would be welcome. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

I haven't done much, but I have numerous blood relative who were Confederate soldiers and my husband's ancestors were Union soldiers. What do I need to do?

Hi Billie,

I am Bobby Rawls from Big Spring, Texas. My 4th great grandmother was Elizabeth (Bass) Rawls born 1762 died circa 1840. She married my 4th great grandfather Silas Rawls Sr in 1781. Silas Rawls Sr ran with Job Bass and was on records with him in South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana. You are descended from Job Bass and I am wondering if you are interested in sharing information about our Bass family and other information Many thanks Bobby Rawls

Not being familiar with the details of wikitree, I may have missed your message in April. I am not descended from Job Bass. but I am a cousin of his grandson, Augustus Elijah Bass, who lived in Tensas Parish, Louisiana on the Myrtle Grove Plantation. I have recently done more research on Augustus. I would be glad to share. There are more than one JOb Bass. I am referring to the Job Bas who was in Mississippi and Louisiana in the 1800's and was the father of Elijah Bass.

Billie, Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.

The US Southern Colonies Project seems to fit your Virginia ancestors. Leaders are Paula J and Mags GauldenClick the link to read how to join.

Or use the Pre-1700 Projects list, located at the top of your page, 4th topic on right, under <Find> and <Projects>.

For questions, just ask!
