Biography
This profile is part of the Awbrey Name Study.
Gabriel was born about 1765.
He published a dissertation Medica Inauguralis, in Latin, dated 24 June 1779 which discusses the use of Peruvian bark and its quinine for the treatment of 'nervous fefer' now known as malaria.[1]
Gabriel married Elizabeth Aubrey on 11 March 1785 in St Peter, Hereford, Hereford, England.[2]
Gabriel's child Henry Harcourt Wynne-Aubrey was baptised on 6 January 1792 in Walcot St Swithin, Somerset, England.[3]
He passed away in 1813.
