Biography
Ebule Wynne was born in 1673 in Llangollen, Wales. He was baptised on 19th May of the same year. His father was William Wynne[1]
He married Gwen Ithel on 25th March 1700 In Llangollen[2]
He was named in the will of Ellin Wynn, widow, of Glynvechan, Denbighshire, dated 24 November 1707. Her will said "I devise give and bequeath all that capital messuage ... commonly called Vivod Hall ... situate lying and being in Vivod ... now in the possession of Eubule Wynn ... to Thomas Wynn son of William Wynn late of Gelly in the said County of Denbigh". Her will also provided for the payment of 40 shillings "to my nephew Eubule Wynn".[3]
Research Notes
He is possibly the "Euble Wynne of Llangollen in the County of Denbigh" who died before 1765 without leaving a will. Administration of his estate was granted to his grandson, Robert Wynne, yeoman, of Llangollen, on 21 March 1765. His personal effects were valued at under £20.[4]
A Eubule Wynne passed away in 1712 at Maecy Coes, Flintshire, Wales.He was buried on 5th April in Caerwys, Flintshire.[5]
Probate was issued on 28th March 1713 and he left a Will[6]
