Mahala Wynne was born about 11 September 1804 in Tyrrell County, North Carolina, United States.
Mahala married Starkey Hassell (born in Columbia, Tyrrell; son of Joshua Hassell Sr and Elizabeth (Lockhart) Hassell). Their known son was Benjamin Franklin Hassell (born 7 June 1832).
Mahala died about 11 August 1879 in Columbia, Tyrrell, North Carolina, aged about 74.[1]
