John Worth was born in Lancashire, England.
John Worth was born in 1831 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England. He was the son of John Worth, labourer, and his wife Sarah, of Deayton Street, Everton, Liverpool, and was baptised at St Peter's Church, Liverpool, on 3rd July 1837 [1].
He married Mary McLean [2] , and was recorded with her in the 1851 Census in the household of her father James McLean in Liverpool [3].
He remarried after Mary's death, to Catherine (Molyneux) Horrocks, a widow, on 26 July 1869 at St Nicholas' church, Liverpool, Lancashire [4].
In 1881, a safe maker, he was living with his wife and children at 122 Mill Street, Manchester [5].
