Biography

George was born[1]on 13 June 1886 to Simeon Worman and Eliza Griffiths and was registered during the second quarter of 1886 in the district of Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom.[2]

George was admitted to the Amalgamated Society Of Railway Servants, Senghenydd branch in 1909.[3]

In the 1911 census George (age 24), Locomotive fireman, was the single son of Simeon Worman at 3 Windsor Place Senghenydd, Eglwysilan, Glamorganshire, Wales.[4]

George married Miriam Rowland. Their marriage was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1912 in the Pontypridd district.[5]

In the 1939 register George, Railway Locomotive driver, was married in Gospel Hall Terrace, Aberdare, Aberdare U.D., Glamorganshire, Wales.[6]

George passed away aged seventy seven on 17 November 1963 and was registered during the fourth quarter of 1963 in the district of Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England.[7]
His probate[1]was administered fifteen and a half years later on 22 May 1979 in Llandaff, Glamorgan, Wales, detailing effects of £123.00. At the time of his passing he was residing a stone's throw away from GCHQ in Campden Road, Benhall, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
