John's life is briefly detailed in the Genealogical and Memorial History of the State of New Jersey. He died without a will, but had 3 sons - John, Joshua, and Michael. Joshua never married. Not sure as to the accuracy of the information in this book. There was an uncle of John, also named John (John The Senior) that might be getting confused with the book narrative. More details are exposed at the Rootsweb site page for John The Senior.
