Biography

Samuel Woollard was born in about 1778 in Kirtling, Cambridgeshire. He was the son of William and Mary Woollard^[1].

In 1802 he married Thomasin Starling in Woodditton, Cambridgeshire,^[2] and they had 4 children: Mary (b.1804), Sam (b.1806), William (b.c.1809) and William (b.c.1812, d.1812).

Thomasin died in 1812 and then, in 1813, he married Peace Starling in Woodditton^[2] and they had 7 children: James (b.c.1814, d.1890), Jonas or Jonah (b.c.1816, d.1833), Sarah (b.c.1818), William (b.c.1820, d.1896), Charles (b.c.1822, d.1891), Mark (b.c.1824, d.1908) and Matthew (b.c.1826, d.1892).

Samuel died aged 63 in 1841 in Woodditton^[3] and was buried there^[2].
