Timeline
1765: William's Birth - Wiltshire, England (age)
William Woolford was born in 1765 in Wiltshire, England. [1][2][3]
William's year and place of birth are deduced from his census returns.
We used William's age as given on his burial and 1851 Census records to calculate his birth year. William's 1851 Census record shows his birthplace as "Hants, Husband"; however, his 1841 Census record asserts that he was born in Wiltshire. A William Woolford was baptised in Purton with Baydon on 19th April 1764 to John and Elizabeth Woolford. However, William Woolford was buried in Purton on 16th February 1786, aged 21, with a father named John. Further research is needed, but this is as far as we can get with any degree of certainty.

So many Woolfords. I am looking for the father of Jessie Woolford, mother of my grandmother Charlotte Page born 1871 at Kings Hill Swindon. It seems that Jessie married (?) WIlliam Page, apparently a carpenter or bricklayer.
A long shot to ask. Maybe you have more clues than I have. Charlotte ended up in the Orphanage At church, and left for Australia when she was 18 on her own to stay with an aunt here in Perth WA. She wrote home to relatives. Diane.
