Hello Mike, I see you removed someone as a profile manager on the profile of Wood-114. [1] Did she request to be removed?

Cheryl Skordahl PGM Co-Leader

Yes, she did.

I wrote to all current profile managers asking if they are still actively researching this line and if they are still interested in being profile managers. She was not. BR, Mike

P.S. I also spoke with Jillaine Smith being doing so.

thank you for your response, Mike... I was doing the daily PGM activity check when I noticed the removal, so I thought I'd better check on it.

Thank you for actively managing the profile.

Hi Cheryl,

I have written to the current managers of Wood-147 and Wood-113 asking to be added as a profile manager.... I did this, as neither of the current manager indicate in their profiles that they have an interest in the WOOD family. Since these profiles are my direct-line male ancestors, and I currently manage both the upstream and downstream profiles of this line, I thought it would be an appropriate request.

I did not however receive a reply. As these are descendants of a PGM ancestor, I thought I might ask you. Is there an administrator who could add me to these two profiles (Wood-147 and Wood-113) as co-manager?

Thanks, Mike Wood

Yes Mike. Go to the PGM home page, make your request to either one of the PGM leaders. I would give you a link but my computer is packed, we are traveling. If you have problems finding PGM home page, leave a msg on my home pg. Cheryl Skordahl and I’ll be able to assist next week sometime.
Hi Cheryl,

Although I did write to the PGM team as you suggested, I have not heard anything back. Might you be able to help me become co-manager of my direct line WOOD family ancestors Wood-147 and Wood-113?

Thanks, Mike Wood

Mike, I'm no longer a Leader, so I am unable to make you a profile manager. My suggestion would be to request to be on the Trusted List. Click on the "privacy" tab, scroll down to JOIN THIS LIST and click on green link.
Hi Mike,

Just wanted to let you know that I've changed the status of a couple of your ancestor profiles from "DNA Confirmed" to "confident". DNA confirmation status requires a special profile statement and cannot be indicated on a profile without stated sources. See our Help:DNA_Confirmation page for more info. I would be happy to assist with creating the statement if needed; just ask!

Kind regards,

Hello, Mike,

Thank you so much for responding to our check-in for the Miltary and War Project.

We are sorry to hear that you are not currently active, but we understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Hi Deb, you reached out to me on 3 Jun 2019 asking if I was active... and deleted me the same day (although I do not think I responded to your original question). I'm happy to be a member if you need me, but also fine simply contributing as I find time (and without a badge).

To answer your question, I have added links to at least 5 profiles of men who are recognized Propositi in the Society of the Cincinnati. BR, Mike

Can you please let us know which ways you have been contributing to the Military and War Project or the 1776 Project for the last couple of months?

Mike, thanks for detaching unproven parents from Wood-114 and updating the disputed origins section. When you do so, though, please add links in the narrative to the detached profiles. Thanks so much.

Welcome to the 1776 project.

I have also awarded you the Military and War project badge as it is the umbrella project for all the wars.

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the projects and the guidelines we have in place.
