Cleo (Wong) White is a part of US Black heritage.

Cleo was born about 1916. She is the daughter of Charles Wong Sing and Eliza Baynard.

By August 1930, Cleo was acting. She appeared at Katie Buckhalter in "Funny Money," a Silas Green from New Orleans production (her brother-in-law Charles Collier owned the troupe).[1]

In April 1934 she appeared in a Charles Collier's Silas Green from New Orleans show in Macon, Georgia, described as a "leading performer."[2]

Cleo spent 11 months starting in April 1937 and ending in January 1938 touring with the Silas Green show.[3]

Cleo Wong "is very popular in theatrical circles and is widely known throughout the states."[4]

Cleo O Wong was married on 19 February 1938 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan to Andrew J. White.[5]

On 17 April 1940, Andrew and Cleo lived at 1542 Beaubien in Detroit. Andrew was a welder for an automobile manufacturer.[6]
