Biography

This fellow died in MacGregor in 1973 and both him and his wife are buried in the MacGregor Cemetery, MacGregor, MB, Canada.

No idea who his parents were but the story goes that he came to Canada early in this century. He lived for a time in Vancouver, BC, Calgary, AB., Carman, Portage and then MacGregor, MB where he settled in 1933. He married Mary Raymack (1909-1984) from Glenella, MB. They operated the MacGregor Cafe and Bakery for the rest of their lives. They are both buried in the MacGregor Cemetery. They had two daughters Lillian who may still be living. Lillian and Sherman had 5 children, Barbara (Skinner), Robert, Blaine, Diane (Davidson) and Darrel. Ruby, (now dead) a graduate nurse from Winnipeg General Hospital who married Carlos Pena. Carlos lived in the US where Ruby died several years ago from cancer. They had one son.
