Biography
- Dora was a foster child in the Huelsdonk family, since orphaned at age six. She was living with the rest of John’s family in Iowa, when he returned in 1892. They married and began their life of adventure on the homestead, in Washington, where they raised four daughters. Dora died a few weeks after John in 1947.
