Christina was the 1st of 11 children to the family and was married to Beni Teets. They were parents of 1 child.

Mrs. Christiana Teets, wife of Beni Teets, died at her home near Anderson, on last Wednesday evening at seven o’clock, aged eighty years. She was bruied [sic] on Friday at the John Snider graveyard.

The subject of this sketch was born April 26, 1825, in Preston county, Va., now West Virginia. She was a daughter of Martin and Elizabeth Wolf, and was united in marriage to Beni Teets on the third day of February, 1848. She was the mother of three children: Ezri Teets, John Teets and Nancy Elizabeth, now the wife of Joseph A. Young. Her entire life was spent in this county, where she became widely known and greatly beloved by a large circle of friends and acquaintances, on account of her many womanly virtues, and the generosity and kindly spirit that was always manifested in her actions. She was a true wife, a devoted mother and one of the best neighbors that ever lived. What better encomium can be pronounced upon the life of any woman? Incidents unnumbered could be given by the writer, or by any one who ever knew her, to prove her kindness and sympathy with all trouble of whatever kind, and with all pain, whether physical or mental. For nearly eighty years she walked the earth, dispensing kindness and comfort to all who came in contact with her, and no one who ever knew her, heard of her death without sorrow and regret. The end came at 8 o’clock on Wednesday evening, March 15, 1905, after an illness of three weeks, which had only been recognized as serious for three days. She was entombed at the John Snider graveyard, near where she lived, the funeral services being conducted by the Rev. Mr. Shackelford of Tunnelton. She is survived by her aged husband and three children.
