Biography
David Wogan was born in Wales.
David was the son of John Wogan.[1][2]
He married Anne, daughter and heiress of Sir WIlliam Plunkett, and Irish gentleman.[2] They had issue:
- John,[1] m. Anne, daughter of James Butler 3rd Earl of Ormond[2]
- Thomas, ancestor of the Lords Talbot of Malahide[1]
David was still living in 1408.[1]
Research Notes
- As his father died before 1376, one can be certain that David was born no later than nine months after that event (i.e. certainly before Sep 1376). As his father was born in 1336, one can be certain that he married no earlier than 1350, though probably closer to 1358. With certainty, then, one can place David's birth between 1351 and Sep 1376. Most probably 1359.

I just want to correct the sources part for Henry Donn (son of Katherine and Owen Donn).
It looks like (in the way my source is listed) that he married Anne Wogan after Sir Oliver Eustace, but I think that the (Henry Donn afterwards) part is not referring to a second marriage of Anne Wogan, but to the inheritance of Picton Castle passing from Katherine Wogan/Donn going to Henry her son.....
