August Fritz Woeltje was born on 22 July 1888 in Green Garden, Will County, Illinois. [1] [2] He was the son of Fred Woeltje and Louisa Reeps. [1]
He appeared in the 1900 US Census in Green Garden, Will County, Illinois. [3] He was living with his parents and siblings John, Sophie, Freda, and Willie. [3]
He appeared in the 1910 US Census in Green Garden Township. [4] He was living with his mother and siblings Frieda and Willie. [4] He was a farm laborer on his home farm. [4]
He married Lillian Brown on 10 August 1910 in Joliet, Will County, Illinois. [1] They had the following children:

I tried to check FindaGrave for what was written on their tombstone, but it does not seem to be working for the St. John's UCC cemetery at the moment. My cousin is interested in helping to list all of Gus's and Lillian's descendants. She also has information on others in the Woeltje, Reep, and Knoop families. Hopefully we can get organized and make this happen. Thank you for stirring our interest.

I periodically visit the St. John's cemetery and the Woeltje's graves at St. John's when I am in the Chicago area. I have a daughter who lives in Chicago.
I haven't had the time to really work on filling out what I know of my genealogy on WikiTree, although I am interested in doing so. Perhaps my cousin will. Or, would you, if we get you the information?
