Mhynard was born in 1917. He was the son of Louis Wink and Marie Florke. He passed away in 1971.

Funeral services to be Friday for Mhynard Wink

Funeral services for Maynard L. J. Wink of Anthon will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 22, 1971 at the Church of Christ in Anthon, IA. Ted Sieck, minister, will officiate and burial will be in Arlington Cemetery at Moville under the direction of the Walter Funeral Home at Anthon. McNiff Post 389, American Legion, will conduct military rites at the cemetery.

Maynard L. J. Wink, 54, Anthon, died Monday, October 18, 1971 at an Ida Grove, Ia. hospital.

Mr. Wink was born September 30, 1917, at Correctionville. He attended schools in rural Woodbury County. Mr. Wink married Hattie Twinig in May, 1945 in Texas. He lived in Oregon from 1942 to 1970 when he returned to Anthon.

Mr. Wink was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Albany, Ore. Elks Club.

Survivors include the widow: his mother, Mrs. Marie Wink of Albany, Ore.; his father, Louis Wink of Moville; eight sons, Dale of Phoenix City, Ala., Burton of Portland, Ore., Mhynard Jr:. in Montana, Cecil of Albany, Duane of Jefferson, Ore., Leo, Lyle and Leroy, all of Anthon; two daughters, Mrs. Leroy (Shirley) Parker of Aberdeen, Wash., and Mrs. Keith (Donna) Sigmond of Crescent Lake, Ore.; two brothers, Luvern of Anthon and Don Sherman in British Columbia, Canada; a sister, Mrs. William (Viola) Hughes of Lawton and 11 grandchildren.
