Robert Edward Wing was born in June, 1916 in Islington, Middlesex, England, son of Albert Edward Wing (1894–1970) and Gladys Mary Riley (1892–1990).[1]
Robert (19) married Doris Winifred Weller (19) (born on December 2, 1915 in Islington, London, United Kingdom) in October, 1935 in Edmonton, Essex, England.
Robert Wing was Killed in Action during World War II.
On April 17, 1942 at age 26, Robert a member of Bomber Command was shot down and killed by fighters At Ormes West of Evreux during a low-level raid on an engine factory At Augsburg. Michael was an Air Gunner[2]
