Biography

Nancy was born about 1823. She was the daughter of William Wing and Abigail Higgins.

Her place and date of birth are uncertain. The date is probably sometime in May of 1823. The baptismal record indicates she was born in "Chesterville, Penobscot, Maine" but this is likely "Chester, Penobscot, Maine" as Chesterville is not in Penobscot county.

Nancy married William Littlefield sometime before 1857 (the birth of her only daughter), location currently unknown. They had one daughter, Francis, who passed away at the age of nine.

Nancy passed away April 20, 1892 in Augusta, Maine. She was a widow at the time of her death.
