Biography
Seth Wing, the son of Jesse Wing Jr. and Martha (Browning) Wing was born in Athens, Maine in 1844. He was a Civil War veteran who enlisted in D Company, Maine 24th Infantry Regiment on 13 October 1862. He mustered out at Augusta, ME on 25 Aug 1863.
He married first, on 17 May 1874, Lucinda Lunt Frye. They had two children before divorcing in Feb 1879. He married second, on 11 Aug 1895, Florence May Berry, who was thirty years his junior. They had one child before his death in 1899. She remarried in 1902 to her first cousin George Taylor, the son of Daniel Taylor and Viola (Berry) Taylor.
