Princess Margaret was the younger sister of Queen Elizabeth II.
Princess Margaret Rose Windsor, Princess of the United Kingdom was born on 21 August 1930 at Glamis Castle, Glamis, Angus, Scotland. She was the daughter of George VI Windsor, King of the United Kingdom and Lady Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon.
Princess Margaret Rose Windsor was baptised on 3 October 1930 at Buckingham Palace, St. James's, London, England.
Princess Margaret Rose Windsor married Antony Charles Robert Armstrong-Jones, 1st Earl of Snowdon, son of Ronald Owen Lloyd Armstrong-Jones and Anne Messel, on 6 May 1960 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England. [1] They had two children:
Princess Margaret and Antony Charles Robert Armstrong-Jones, 1st Earl of Snowdon were later divorced on 5 July 1978.
Princess Margaret Rose Windsor died on 9 February 2002 at age 71.[2]
