John F. Wilson, State Official Dies At 66 Annapolis. Jan. 17 (JP) John F. Wilson, 66, deputy State comptroller since 1933, died yesterday at his home in Harwood. He had been ill for six months. Wilson went to work in the comptroller's office in 1921. He was a member of the South River Club, one of the country's oldest men's social groups, and the Southern Maryland Society.
Survivors include the widow, the former Dr. Emily Hammond; his mother, Mrs. Albert Wilson; two sons and a sister. Services will be held tomorrow at 2 P.M. in St. James Church, Lothian, with burial in the church cemetery.
