Biography

Francis was born about 1901 in Michigan. His father was Franklin B Wilson and his mother was Emma J Handlin, both from Scotland. Francis married Margaret J Rollie on 12/27/1919 in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts. In 1920 Francis and Margaret were living with her parents in Haverhill where Francis was working as a heel blacker at a shoe factory. Francis and Margaret had 2 children (Beatrice and William). The couple divorced some time after the conception of William who was born in 1924.
