James Wilson was born in Ireland.

James Wheldale Wilson was born in about 1853. He was the second son of John Massie Wilson and Sarah Emily Willington.

He lived at Harvest Lodge, Lorrha, Roscrea, County Tipperary with his parents and siblings^[1].

On 17 November 1874 he married his cousin Ada Victoria Caroline Sadleir (the third daughter of Edwin Sadleir) at Monkstown Church in Dublin^[2]. Notice of their marriage was printed on page 3 of the Clonmel Courier dated 18 November 1874:

MARRIAGES.

WILSON-SADLEIR - 17th instant, at Monkstown Church, county Dublin, by the Rey. J. Kennedy, James Wheldale Wilson, second son of John Wilson, Esq., Harvest Lodge, King's County, to Ada Victoria Caroline, third daughter of Edwin Sadleir, Esq., Oakwood, and Clonmel, county Tipperary. ^[3]

Children (if any) unknown.

His father John died on 2 August 1876.

In about 1880 John and his wife emigrated from Ireland to the United States, and were recorded living in 1920 at Cherry Avenue, Long Beach, Los Angeles, California. He was aged 75, his wife Ada C Wilson was aged 70^[4].

James Wheldale Wilson passed away on 12 February 1928 due to Lobar Pneumonia and was buried on 15 February 1928 at Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, Los Angeles County, California, United States^[5][6]. PLOT: Sycamore
