Research
Marriage Transcription. Charles Williams, aged 27, a blacksmith, married Ellen Kelly, aged 19, a servant, on 6 Aprl1852 at Christ Church, Cullenswood, Tasmania according to the rites and ceremonies of the Church of England & Ireland. The officiating clergyman was Samuel Parsons, witnessed by William King and Mary [Seyrue] [unclear]. All parties used their marks in the register.
Death Transcription. Charles Williams died on 27 June 1876 at Riverton, New Zealand, The informant was his son, William Williams who recorded that his father was a publican, who had been born in Birmingham, England, that he had married Mary McGathny or McGarry 25 years ago, and had been in New Zealand for 15 Years. He recorded there were 7 children to the married, 5 males and 2 females.
