Biography
She was born on her father's property at Spring Valley, Beverley.
Her husband was her first cousin. Her father and his mother were siblings. They had six children Mary, Myrtle, Joy, Pearl, Joan and Ted.
She died in Midland although her home was on Carmel Rd, Carmel.
SPENCER.-On July 7, 1945. at Midland Junction. Edith Ellen, dearly beloved wife of George Wilfred. of Carmel road. Carmel, loved mother of Mary (Mrs G. E. Hayes). Myrtle (Mrs L. R. Morris), Joy (Mrs R. W. Lang), Pearl, Joan and Ted; aged 65 years Will be missed.[1].
