Major David Wilder II served with 5th Massachusetts Bay Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

David Wilder was a Captain in Col. Asa Whitcomb's regiment and in 1779 a Major in Col. John Rand's 8th Worcester County regiment of Massachusetts Militia. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

David II was the only child of David and his first wife, Ann (Willard) Wilder.

His mother died when he was about 4 years of age and his father remarried twice more, to Eunice Jennison & Martha White.

David II married Lucy Josselyn, daughter of John & Lucy (Wilder) Josselyn on 24 Jan 1768 at Leominster, Worcester, Massachusetts. [8]
