Captain Abel Wilder served with 18th Massachusetts Bay Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

He married Anna Butler on June 02, 1760. [1] [2]

One of first settlers in Winchendon.

Captain Abel Wilder of Winchendon served in that rank in Colonel Ephraim Doolittle's Regiment of Minute Men April 19, 1775. He was at Bunker Hill. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

Representative and Senator in Massachusetts Legislature, Presidential Elector.

He died of smallpox in 1792. DAR lists place Philadelphia, PA
