I heard good things about the site in the magazine of the HDFHS and I like the ethos so thought I'd join. I like using Ancestry and Findmypast but there's no community or positive collaboration on those sites. I'll certainly look at the tutorials etc before I slowly start to be active. I've found some of my ancestors on the site but also discovered that many aren't featured so I'll eventually include them. regards Jackie

You are very welcome, I agree with you regarding Ancestry, I have found their message boards not very helpful, I have not used Findmypast, so would have thought they were the same. Our G2G Forum is very active, and our members are very helpful when questions are asked, we have all had times when we needed help, so love to help as and when needed.
I am glad you have found some ancestors already, that saves you time by having the profiles already created
