Edmund was born in 1789. He was the son of Robert Wigan and Elizabeth Eason. His baptism ^[1] was 1 June 1789 in Abbots Bromley.

He married Elizabeth Webb ^[2] 31 January 1814, and they had 2 daughters Louisa and Charlotte.

He is in the 1851 census ^[3] living with his wife in Lapley, his occupation was Esquire Deputy Lieutenant Income of the Peace Landed Proprietor
