Beatrice "Bea" Wiesel was the second of the four children of Shlomo and Sarah Feig Wiesel, and an older sister of Elie Wiesel.
She and her older sister Hilda survived the Holocaust. Beatrice returned to their home village of Sighet, Romania, after World War II.
She later settled in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She was married to Leonard Jackson. In Elie's memoir, The Sea is Never Full, Elie Wiesel mentioned her husband Len and children Sarah and Steve.[1]
Beatrice Wiesel Jackson died on 17 August 1974 and is buried in Baron de Hirsch Cemetery in Montreal. [2]
