Alfred Whitten Jr^[1] was born on 19 March 1858 in Texas, United States, son of Alfred Whitten and Nancy Ann Lewis. He married Martha 'Mattie' E. Park in about 1883.

From his Find a Grave page:

"A 1984 history of Madison County says Alfred "disappeared" shortly after his wife, Mattie's death. His date and place of death and place of burial are unknown."

1. ↑ His FamilySearch and Find a Grave profiles have the middle name Washington for him, but aside from a W middle initial on one record, that hasn't be represented by the records attached. It doesn't seem to be in the Family Bible that was referenced on Find a Grave. Does it appear anywhere else?
