Biography

Bartlett was born 29 Aug 1886 to Samuel Leonard White and Martha Jane Lance in Taney County, Missouri.

He married Ova York 6 October 1907 in Carroll, Arkansas, United States. Children of Ova and Barlett:

1. Omer Lessey White 1908–1976
2. Oscar Ira White 1911–1970
3. Thelbert Rurrel White 1920–1984

He passed away in 1949.

Research Notes

The 1900 census has a discrepancy within the names of the children listed for Leonard and Martha White. It is likely that the Margaret found on the 1900 census is an error and is in fact Bartlett.

• 1900 Census lists Margaret b. Aug 1886 but does not list Bartlett b. Aug 1886^[1]
• No other mention of Margaret of this age in the family
• Further census and Leonard's obituary do list a Bartlett
