Biography

John Wharrie was born about 1872 in Glasgow, Scotland, son of Mary Ann (Hunter) Wharrie and Robert Wharrie.

He emigrated with to Victoria, Australia about 1876 and lived at Emerald Hill, South Melbourne.

He married Constance Clementina Crosling on 13 October 1892 at the Methodist Church in South Melbourne.^[1][2] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}
