This person's tree — or at least certain views of it - shows her to be the mother of Johan George Reitz. This is not correct!

She did have a son Johan George, b. 1726 at Lohrhaupten, but he was not the 1751 emigrant to America. In 1754 he m. Catharine Krug at Lohrhaupten, and died there in 1775.

Rev. J. J. Reitz made an error of inference by equating the immigrants, Johan George and Johan Friedrich, as brothers. So far as is known, the two clans had no interaction prior to ca 1918.

The immigrant Johan George Reitz was from Büchelbach; his baptism and his marriage to Anna Martha Köller are recorded at Bieber Evangelisch parish. His mother was documented in those records to be [So]phronia (surname unknown).
