Biography

George Weston is a part of US Black heritage.

George was born in 1907. He is the son of William Weston and Ruth Anderson. In 1910, the family was living in Portsmouth Ward 2, Portsmouth (Independent City), Virginia.^[1] By 1920, the family had moved to Norfolk, Virginia.^[2]

George E. Weston and Roselyn Darden married on 27 Jun 1929 in Manhattan, New York, New York.^[3]

George passed away in 1977 from renal insufficiency due to hypertensive cardiovascular disease and diabetes. His death certificate stated he was a 71 year old, negro, married male who was a retired aircraft mechanic. His parents were listed as William H Weston and Ruth Anderson. His wife was Roselyn D Weston, who was the informant. Burial was in the Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake, Virginia.^[4]
