Charles was born in 1845 Charles Werntz and Elizabeth. Charles enlisted in Company B of the 103rd OVI on 27 Aug 1864. He mustered out with the company on 12 Jun 1865. Charles married Mary Margaret Moore in 1865. Charles was a Laborer by trade. He passed away in 1926.
