Biography
Johann Nikolaus was a miller in Stipshausen, Obere Mühle ("upper mill"). He was protestant.
Johann Nikolaus was born before 1688, probably in Stipshausen.
In 1706, he married Anna Maria Margaretha Weyand (or Weygandt), daughter of Johannes W. from Schauren.
In September 1707, he bought the upper mill in Stipshausen from his father Gerhard. He sold the mill again in November 1708 to a relative (his mother's grandson Hans Peter Trautmann who had married Anna Catharina, Heinrich Heid's daughter from Hottenbach). He is also mentioned as "miller on Schmidburger Mühle". In 1733 he is still there.
