Biography

Elizabeth Wemyss was born on 29 September 1722 in Wemyss, Fife, Scotland.[citation needed]

Elizabeth and James Oswald were married on 12 February 1736, their banns being published on the same day in the parishes of Abbotshall and Wemyss.[1][2]

The couple had at least six children baptised in the parish of Wemyss, Fife:
