Private David Wells served with Suffolk County, New York Militia during the American Revolution.

David Wells is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A122355.

David Wells was a patriot for New York during the American Revolution. He signed the Association Test in 1775 and was in active duty as a private in Col. Josiah Smith's Suffolk County Regiment. The DAR Patriot Index lists two wives: 1) Bethiah Parshall, 2) Abigail Youngs. A daughter Abigail married Luther Youngs. ^[1]
