Bela Weld was a New Hampshirite.

Bela Weld was born on December 14, 1784, in Cornish, Sullivan County, New Hampshire, to Walter Weld and Lucy Carpenter ^[1][2].

In 1850, Bela (age 65 - worked as a shoemaker), lived in Livermore, Oxford County, Maine, with his inferred wife Marena (age 59 - name as recorded and born in New Hampshire), their inferred daughter Frances E. (age 18 - born in Maine) and their inferred son Allen C. (age 30 - born in New Hampshire and worked as a shoemaker)^[3].

On October 15, 1851, son Allen C. Weld (age 31 - born in Lebanon, Grafton County, New Hampshire and worked as a bootmaker), married Elizabeth S. Morse (age 22 - born in Canton, Massachusetts), in Canton, Norfolk County, Massachusetts^[4][5].
