Kezia (Welch) Horne was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.

Kezia Welch was born about 1853 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England and baptised 3rd July 1853 at Cheltenham St. Mary, Gloucestershire, England, the second child of William Welch & Ann Betteridge.[1][2]

Kezia Welch, age 23, Spinster, of 15 Clarence St., (daughter of William Welch, Saddler) & Thomas Ellison, age 33, Bachelor, Saddler, of Chipping Campden, (son of Henry Ellison, Farmer) were married 2nd August 1876 in the Parish Church of Cheltenham St. Mary, Gloucestershire, England according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns by Henry J. Jauncey, Curate. Thomas & Kezia both signed. Witnesses were William Welch & Louisa Maria Betteridge.[3][4]

Thomas Ellison, late of Chipping Camden, Gloucestershire, England, Saddler died aged 44, on 28th January 1887 at Chipping Camden, Gloucestershire, England. Probate of his estate was granted 23rd November 1891 at the Principal Registry to Kezia Ellison of Chipping Camden, Widow, the Relict, the sole Executrix.[5][6]

Kezia Ellison, age 40, Widow, of 55 Dorothy Road, (daughter of William Welch, Deceased, Saddler) & William Horne, age 30, Bachelor, Stationer & Seedsman, of the Parish of Campdon, Gloucester, (son of John Horne, Stationer & Seedsman) were married in Christ Church, Battersea, Surrey, England according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church by Licence by Frederick A. H. Vinon, Assistant Curate. William & Kezia both signed. Witnesses were Julia West & Isaac Wilkinson West.[7][8]
