Biography

Lucinda Webber was born in 1828 in Vassalboro, Kennebec, Massachusetts^[1] and was the daughter of Oliver Webber and Abigail (Hawes) Webber.

Lucinda married George Harrison Hobbs, Jr. in Lowell, Middlesex, Massachusetts on 16 Nov 1851.^[1] Children of Lucinda and George are:

1. Eda E. Hobbs (1852 - 1876)

3. Oliver A Hobbs (1854 - 1886)
4. Lamont Hobbs (1857 - 1879)

In the 1860 census, enumerated on 5 Jun 1860, Lucinda (32) and George (36) were living in Clinton, Kennebec, Maine with five children. He was a farmer with $1300 in real estate and $318 in personal estate.^[3]Children:

Lucinda died on 27 Mar 1872 in Clinton, Kennebec, Maine. She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery where her husband would join her in 1907.^[4] George's cemetery card lists the two parents and six children.^[5]
