Biography
Edward Watt is a part of US Black heritage.
Edward was born in 1871 in Mississippi. He was the son of Abram and Jennie Watt. In 1880 he was living in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi with his parents and a brother.[1]
Edward married Idella Webb around 1896. In 1900 they were living in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi with 3 children and Edward's mother.[2] In 1910 Edward and Idella had 7 children in their household in Starkville, Oktibbeha County.[3]
By 1920 the whole family had moved to St. Louis, Missouri where Ed was working in a packing company. They still had seven children at home.[4]
He passed away after 1930, when he and Idella were living with 5 children and 3 grandchildren in St. Louis. Edward was working as a night watchman.[5]
